The function of the lens is to collect light reflected from the scene and focus it into an image onto the CCTV camera sensor. This lens calculator displays the angle of view and field of view dimensions of common CCTV lenses and will help in determining which lens is best for the application.

Select the Lens, Sensor and Reading Direction to determine the angle of view. To calculate the Field of View, enter the distance to the target and select Calculate.
