The TowerCam is an innovative camera designed specifically for banking and retail opportunities when facial image and video capture of the customer is required.
The unique tower camera concept allows close-up imaging of the customer during a transaction. This concept is far superior to over-the-head camera shots that many times result in blocked camera views and diminished facial recognition due to the camera's distance from the transaction point. The camera's video image may be recorded to the system's digital video recorder for later playback and archive.
The TowerCam features a high-resolution 600TVL color camera with an integrated 3.6mm wide angle lens offering a 74° horizontal viewing angle for excellent image capture.
The camera offers full adjustment in pan angle, height, and camera tilt to customize the image view. The camera height may be adjusted from 16.9" to a full 23.9" to ensure the camera view is positioned above typical bank teller window design construction elements. The assembly offers a +/- 45° base pan angle adjustment and the camera may be independently tilted +/- 10° to ensure ideal image capture. Locking mechanisms are provided to ensure the camera's view is not inadvertently changed once installed in the defined position.
A standard BNC connector and a two pin screw terminal cable are provided inside the base for easy RG-59U video cable connection and for 12~15VDC operation. The base accommodates vertical cable exit, (1" minimum hole-diameter required) through the counter top or horizontally at the base using easy to remove cable exit tabs, eliminating the need for the large-hole drilling in designer solid surface counter-tops. A flat metal base with an adhesive bottom for direct attachment to a flat surface is provided.
The TowerCam is available in a black case color to match most installation aesthetics and includes a 12VDC power supply.
