The PVM monitor, M201P-WDR, is a high brightness and contrast TFT LCD monitor with a built-in high-resolution Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) color CCD camera with integrated auto iris vari-focal lens. The monitor includes programmable Video Motion Detection (VMD) capability for the internal camera and a second video input for an external camera or other video source. The internal VMD allows the monitor view to switch to the internal camera when motion occurs. The VMD sensitivity, capture time and dwell time may be individually programmed. In addition to motion detection, the M201P-WDR has PiP and PBP capability.
 
The monitor offers a clean aesthetic appearance with no visible operator controls. Monitor and camera programming is accomplished using the supplied IR Remote Control. A built-in selectable Light Sensor permits the monitor to enter a “sleep” mode when ambient lighting is lowered, thus providing extended LCD backlight life. Three video outputs are provided; one loop-through video output for the internal camera and two auxiliary outputs each selectable between the internal or external video input as additional loop-through video connections.

The wide dynamic range (WDR) camera provides increased visibility when sources of high illumination are located directly behind a scene of lower illumination, such as a retail front entrance.

The monitor contains two powerful 2.5W audio amplifiers and speakers for stereo line-level audio input.

The monitor features a 100mm VESA mount connection point for use with various LCD mounts (see accessories). Camera and power wiring is concealed within a removable rear access cover for aesthetic purposes. The internal camera’s field of view, focus and iris may be easily adjusted by removing the camera assembly from the rear of the monitor. The monitor provides external 12VDC power for supplying power to a second camera.
